Roll With It

This commission was pitched to me, specifically the phrase 'Roll With It' and the request for polyhedral dice to be included. The colour choices and additional elements, like the whisky bottle and tumbler glass were my creative choices.

This was painted over a time period of 10 hours, and an additional 2 hours for research and planning.

Created on A4 Mixed Media Paper, using Derwent Watercolour Pencils and Crawford & Black Watercolour Paints.

An Illustration Collection

For this set of commissions the client sent me 3 reference pictures with the request for me to recreate each quote in my illustrative style. There were additional adjustments requested, for example; colour palette and sizes for each piece, and the choice of cocktail which made the piece more personal. Further details like the  plant and record player we're creative choices made by my with the trust of the client.

This was painted over a time period of 16 hours, and an additional 2 hours for research and planning.

Created on A4 Mixed Media Paper, using Derwent Watercolour Pencils and Crawford & Black Watercolour Paints and Artist Quality Brush Pens.

Woody and Merlin Portrait

Open Doors For Yourself

Commissioned by the Northern Girls Club

"Open Doors For Yourself & Leave Them Open For Others To Follow"

An illustration created and inspired by a talk at the Northern Girls Club Live Event in May 2022.  This was where I heard the phrase, so when approached by the club to create something for them to share with their audience, this seemed the perfect opportunity to develop and bring the phrase to life.

The Crown & Station

A gift for a Dentist.

This commission was pitched as a combination of ideas. A painting of a pub street sign, displaying a Tooth on a train. I was allowed a little bit of creative freedom with the finer details as I brought this vision to life.

Created on an A4 Canvas, with Daler-Rowney: System 3 Acrylic paints, Schneider Acrylic Markers and Uni-Ball: Fine Line Drawing Pens set.
